The Brief

The hosts wanted guests to leave with at least one new contact worth calling. Speeches were to stay short; the conversations were the point.

What We Did

• Planned a seating chart that mixed mentors and guests by industry
• Kept the program to two short talks and one award
• Ran a hosted bar and passed dinner, so nobody was stuck at a table
• Printed table cards with conversation prompts

The Result

The evening finished on schedule, and the format is easy to repeat for any networking event where meeting people matters more than the stage.
